CONTENTS
sample.csv: 100 real rows, all 82 columns from borrowers.csv.
Repeatable selection; not a statistically representative sample. The legend describes the full product; companion data tables are only in the full download.

FEATURES AND PREPARATION
- Complete 7(a) and 504 approval records for every covered fiscal year; 7(a) loans link to their lender and every loan links to its borrower group.
- One row per borrower name/address group across both programs and all years, with per-program loan counts and amounts, first and latest approval, latest loan program, status and lender or CDC, lender, CDC and third-party lender names, business types, franchises and NAICS industries.
- Labeled exact-key place matching with current websites, phones, shared-mailbox emails, place categories, brands and social profiles; ambiguous candidates stay unlinked and the deciding rule is named on every row.
- One row per 7(a) lender across all years with FDIC or NCUA identity, current website, phone and headquarters, totals, distinct borrower/state/industry counts and latest September 30 assets and deposits.
- Per-year 7(a) lender activity with September 30 financials, plus lender industry and borrower-state breakdowns by fiscal year.
- Borrowers linked by labeled exact-key name/address rules to Form 5500 plan sponsors (EIN, business phone, plan counts, participants, 401(k)/health flags, plan assets, carriers and recordkeepers) and to OSHA establishments (EIN, annual average employees, hours).

USING THE FILES
legend.csv defines the columns, units, formats and blank-value meanings.
CSV is UTF-8 with headers. Import identifiers, ZIP codes and phones as text. Blank differs from zero or false.
Columns of type json contain JSON text within CSV cells.
LICENSES.txt contains source attribution and applicable notices.

LIMITATIONS
- Fiscal years run October 1 through September 30; statuses and lender attributions reflect the later SBA publication, not the approval date.
- Borrower groups are exact normalized name/address groups, not EINs or verified legal companies; a business can appear under more than one address.
- 504 gross approval is the SBA-backed debenture; the third-party first-lien loan is reported separately and is blank where SBA publishes none. 504 CDCs and third-party lenders are published names, not linked to FDIC or NCUA identifiers.
- Place contacts, FDIC websites and institution details are current reference values, not contacts at the time of each loan.
- Matched does not mean manually verified; review flags and unmatched borrowers remain visible.
- Emails are limited to published shared business mailboxes such as info@; other published addresses are withheld, and no address is guessed or verified.
- Credit-union lenders are joined to NCUA Call Report data by exact charter; NCUA names are its short form, contacts are current and financials are dated September 30. An LEI checksum pass does not establish registration.
- Form 5500 and OSHA links require the same name (or core name) and address; they are not verified identity. Linked values describe the sponsor or establishment in its own filing year, not the borrower at loan approval.
- 2 source record(s): Fractional-cent source amount retained at full precision
- 1 source record(s): Non-printing control characters replaced with spaces
